I have to say that when we are all done I will miss Nurse Sarah, she has been so very sweet to us. Of course Timbo didn't think so. When we went to appointment number two he began crying as soon as he saw her. The little guy actually remembered her from getting the casts sawed off the last time and wanted nothing to do with her. Getting the casts sawed off was an ordeal. He would scream the whole time. Now if you have ever had a cast taking off you might not be feeling that sorry for him because it doesn't take that long to have a cast removed.......that is unless you are a baby. You can't tell an infant to hold really still while they are being worked on so removing the casts from him takes quite a while.
Nurse Sarah gets the Doctors supplies all ready for him, helps me hold Timbo while the casts are being removed and most importantly she washes his feet between casting.
Sarah calls Timbo her favorite patient. I love when she opens the waiting room door and calls him name in her sing-song voice.
Ignore the quality of the photo, as you can see he was trying to get away. Can you also his toe nail on the middle toe? I can't fit nail clippers into his casts so the child was growing some claws
On a side note, McGoodDaddy said he wanted to carry Timbo around in his pocket for when he was having a bad day. He said he couldn't look at that face and not smile. Major brownie points with me
After his stinky feet have been washed, and this time he got his toe nails cut too, Dr McGoodDaddy begins with a 2 1/2 inch stocking.
