He made it

Timbo and his new shoes/braces have not been getting along. The first night that he wore them went well but nearly every night since then has been a problem. It was such a problem that I had made another appointment with the shoe/brace guy to get some help. Timothy must have heard me on the phone because the next four nights went a little better.

We had two problems. The first problem was getting them to stay on all night. Sometimes it was a fight to just get them on only to have he get out of them while he was sleeping.
Other times he would keep them on but be so miserable I would take them off so he could finally get some sleep. Example, one night he woke up seven times, seven, until I finally took them off around four am. On another night he woke up three times in twenty minutes; that night he only made it to eleven pm.

Well last night he made it! He woke up only one time and I didn't take the shoes/braces off until almost eight this morning!!! I'm not holding out any hope that he will do it again tonight but for this morning I am so excited!

On to funnier things, Timbo's hair has taken on a life of it's own. It's kind of hard to capture the look in a picture because he hair so wispy but you can see it a little bit. He loves to pull his hair while he nurses and I guess he has just conditioned it to go in that direction. It doesn't help any that he also pulls his hair while he eats table food. I don't think you will ever see lasagna based hair product on shelves but some marketing company should consider it.

Yes I said table food. I know he is little but he is hungry y'all and baby food just wasn't cutting it for my little guy. It makes him happy and that's all that counts for me.
