A lot of times when I tell people that Timothy has problems with his feet I hear, "Really, he looks fine to me". While I am glad that there are a majority of people who can't see what's wrong sometimes it's frustrating because I want them to know, to really know.
Here are my pictures for people to really know.
This photo was taken last night before bedtime. This is a print of his foot from last night.
We needed to leave our home by five this morning to ensure that we were there on time. We waited until the last possible moment to get him up.
4:50 in the morning and he is still chipper!

Every hospital needs comfy chairs to wait in.
Bo was really excited about the little things, his nifty socks, his bear cap, and his tiger gown.

He was the one going into surgery but he was the one making us feel better.
At his pre-op appointment Jeff told Dr. McGoodDaddy that we wanted to know the color of Timothy's cast ahead of time. We were going to buy some coban that matched and make Daddy Bubba a cast as well. Once he heard our plans he said not to worry that Daddy Bubba would be taken care of.
And boy was he. He received his own name tag for his ankle and allergy awareness tag just like Timothy. They got Bo and Bubba matching caps. When Dr McGD got there he marked Timothy foot for surgery and then placed blue wrapping around Bubba to be sure he had "surgery" on his correct foot as well.
I was so pleased that he was in such a good mood. It made things easier for me.
They gave him some medicine to make him okay with leaving us and he was hilarious! He told us a complete nonsense story that had us rollin. He would pinch Jeff's lips together to keep him from talking and called him Brendon more than once. Before he left he announced, "Somethin's happen to my whole body" with goofy eyes.
The surgery lasted about an hour and a half. When we got back to him he was really screaming. It took a while for him to calm down and it was incredibly heart breaking to know there was nothing I could do but hold him.
We didn't stay in recovery for too long. We left as soon as we could. He just wanted to go home and I just wanted to give him whatever he wanted.
Don't Timothy and Daddy Bubba look so cute with matching casts.
I will post x-rays of his foot later so you can see how different they look now.
He is sleeping right now. I hate not being able to instantly take his pain away. I feel so helpless. No body likes to see their baby hurting.
