We've got some awfully strange plants here in Arizona.

Oh My

Kati asked me to braid her hair before bedtime to have curls the next morning. I twisted it instead and this is what we got the next morning. Oh My! That was some un-tamable hair. I told her we would have to do this again for silly hair day.

"Play-like"

I came up the stairs the other day a found Kati with her Christmas present. She had the whole little family set up but it was us instead. She had Jeffrey cooking at the grill and he was the main focus of her play. The boys came up and brought their own families as well, with all of them using Jeff as the main character. It was precious. They sure do love their daddy.

"Some day we're gonna look back and say look at us now"

He has been home for one year and I just can't get over how happy I am.

Spring Break

Grandma Al came for a visit over spring break. We were all so excited to see her. It was her first trip out here to see our new place. We had a great visit. We went to the zoo, and the park, and the fountains, and just had a great time. We miss her already.

New 'Do

He has always been a little different. He has these cute little quirks and oddities. Now, at three, he has chosen his own hair cut. And he is particular. He will let you know if you aren't getting it just right. Just like all his other quirks it really kind of cute. He straightens it back up if it gets messed with. He checks it through out the days to ensure he is still lookin' good. Stopping to catch his reflection in any surface.......

Small town in the big city

There is this place not far from here that we have fallen in love with. Lots of little shops, restaurants, and fountains. Surrounding this fountain are large lawn chairs, umbrellas, benches and lush grass. The giggles in the air are heart melting. Moms, dads, grandparents and friends relax, laugh and love while the kids splash in the water and play soccer on the lawn.
