On the way through New Mexico Jeff stopped off to show me something he just knew I would love. The City of Rocks. I really appreciated it. It was hot and some of the kids were cranky and it made our trip longer but he knew how much I would enjoy it so he did it for me.
We stayed for about an hour. Just long enough for Jeffrey to burn real good, for me to make some memories and for Kati to fall in love with the state park.

When you are on a road trip you have to get creative with time out. Not really, the little stinker just didn't want his picture taken.

Look closely and you can see the kids sitting in one of the rocks.
