A fun morning outside

We spent a couple of hours outside this morning and probably would have stayed even longer if that pesky thing called lunch had not gotten in the way. We saw rolly pollies, beetles, spiders and even a few snakes. But don't worry, I killed them. Pretty gross though, I got snake juice in my eye. The kids swung and slide and used their new toys from Grandma E. in the sand box (where we also found a dead snake). Crazy thing though, Bear thought it would be a good idea to pretend the sand was shampoo and conditioner and washed his and Kati's hair. Even crazier, Kati didn't argue. You can't really see it but the bottom of the tub has tons of sand.
