Kitchen time

Fall is in the air. I'm getting the baking bug again. Another attempt at yeast rolls. Still not right but better than they have ever been.

One of Bo's favorite things is taking a bath. He has missed it with his cast but fortunately he enjoys his time in the sink as well.

Check out those abs. Where do I get some of those?

Piggy

Well over a year ago we noticed a brown spot on Timothy's scalp. It was as if it suddenly appeared, one day it was just there. More than one person tried to whip the dirt off of his head.

At his three year check up Jeffrey told me to be sure and point it out to his Ped. He looked it over and gave it a big name, Pigmented Nivus. In other words, mole. It wasn't raised up so it's hard for me to think of as a mole but that's what it was.

We went to the surgeon our Ped recommended and he thought it was a legitimate concern. Being that we can't see it when his hair is grown out and more importantly he can't check it as an adult he thought it should be removed. Nothing was wrong with it now but at some point it could be dangerous.

We went to have it removed last week. It went really well. He ended up with seven staples.

10 years

High school wasn't my thing. Never really was. For the first few weeks of ninth grade I nearly threw up every day. After some time I finally made some friends but they were all older than me. So when my 10 year reunion rolled around I finally decided I didn't want to pay money to go. Everyone I wanted to see again from high school I was already in touch with. Thank you FaceBook. But then I noticed our Homecoming Game was against Jeffrey's old high school.

I couldn't pass that up.

I thought it would be too fun for our family to go. We made Kati on my team, Bear on Jeff's and Timothy needed to be Switzerland.

We pumped the kids up all week long...... made them shirts to wear, taught them "trash talk" and I made them mums and guarders.

We had such a great time. We hooted and hollered. It was a blast watching the kids get in to it. Great game too. In the end my school won, 17 - 14.

the trash talk continues........
