The kids really enjoyed the sea lions. They had to be the smelliest things there.

Feeding the dolphins

The dolphins are on a feeding schedule. It is busy here all day. We waited 15 minutes to pay four dollars for four fish. Outrageous I know but it's worth it to have them come that close and then get to touch them. I had one lady offer me five dollars for one fish.

That smile was worth every dollar. Even if she wouldn't touch she loved it.

He isn't really hitting his head it is just the angle of the camera. He was just a happy little guy with his cookies.

The shows

Kati loves Shamu

The second time we saw the show Jeff went early and got us a seat as close as we could get. Kati said she wanted to get wet by Shamu.

Maybe she didn't know what that really meant.

Isn't he cute.

They weren't sleeping well at night and with no naps he would sleep anytime we got still.

La Viva is Jeff's favorite show and it looks like Bears too.

My dare - devil

Since Kati was an infant we suspected she would be a lover of rides.

Kati rode her first ride by herself. I wasn't sure I was going to make it.

This ride was probably 15 to 20 feet in the air.

She loved it.

Look closely and you will see we do not have two dare devils.
He kept saying he wanted to ride.......until he got on.

Mom and I took Bear to something more his size.

Some one tried to make friends with Bear but he wasn't interested.

Ducks and fish

We spent a good amount of time feeding ducks. What you can't see are the flamingos that are there as well. But since the ducks would eat the food that is what my kids were interested in.

You can see why right? They were beautiful ducks.

I gave up a second trip to visit the dolphins to feed fish. But that's okay they really enjoyed themselves. My grandma would have enjoyed it too.

Aviary

I decided to do all the vacation blogging in sections. I was just to over-whelmed to get started and I have other things I want to blog too. My mom loves birds as did her mother so we made a trip to the aviary. Mom bought little cups of nectar. Brendon was not to sure about this colorful flying things.
But he apparently has birds in his blood too and warmed up really quick.

Kati on the other hand likes almost nothing new just like her mom.

They really liked my mom. One of them sat on her head and tried to eat her hair clip.

That warmed Kati up!

This was Kati's favorite bird. I think because it was pink and had no interest in flying around.
